Hey Mitchell. General rule of thumb here... Never buy no name parts from eBay. Never. It's just not recommended. Now, if you found say...Stillen intercoolers on eBay, use your discression with the seller and buy if you choose. No name stuff = trouble for our cars. Be it bad fitiment (body kit parts) bad performance (crappy coilovers and piss-poorly designed FMICs) or cheap knock offs. Now, stock IC's are gonna limit you below 400RWHP. You need new IC's with Sp500's. I can rattle off Z1 Intercoolers, GReddy, Stillen, AshSPEC Massive, T0M @ TDM works, HKS, ARC as quality IC manufacturers, who all make SMICs, side mounts in stock locations. Stillens and AshSPEC's require new ducts to be used. GReddy and Z1 re-use the stock ducts (good thing). I'm not sure about T0M's or HKS's. FMIC's on our cars will work, yes, but they are far from optimal. Many aren't designed correctly, with horrible pressure drops across them, and no cross flow design. They can also heat the air prior to your radiator, not a good thing. Properly designed FMIC's are T0M @ TDM works and HKS. Some giant turbo monsters use the GReddy FMIC, cause whats a few PSI drop when you're running 40lbs of boost (exageration). In the future, I kindly suggest you search for your answers here in the General forum first. Many questions have been asked many times over the last 8 years or so.
